Salwa Palace - AtTuraif UNESCO World Heritage Site

Located at At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Salwa Palace is located on the northeastern side of the Turaif District. Positioned at the forefront, it is one the most prominent landmarks at the district’s entrance. In 1766 AD, Imam Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad ibn Saud built this ancient historical monument to be the home of the state and the headquarters for AlSaud’s princes and imams. As one of the largest palaces in Diriyah, Salwa palace extends over an area of 10,000 square meters and includes seven multi-floor residential units.
